i got ipod touch 2G and got update its firmware on 3.1.2.. i want to jailbreak it. what do you prefer blackrain or redsnow?

thanks.. but i read a lot of comments saying that their ipod touch goes black and nothing happen.. yout think blackrain cannot ruin my ipod touch? just to make sure noithing goes wrong with my itouch thanks phil...
