Installer.app says it can’t find the host
When I try to download packages, Installer.app says it cant find the host. What do I do?

  • Make sure you have Installer.app, version 3.0 (or higher) installed (not 3.0b followed by a number)
  • Make sure you have Community Sources, version 3.4 (or higher), installed.
  • Make sure you clear Installer.app’s queue, if there is anything in it.
  • Refresh the Sources, in Installer.app.
  • Try your download again.
